We helped out in Speech Day which was held on 27th April,2007 at our school.
It was about one month ago but couldn't update because had no time..hhaha :D
Before the event began,we were briefed by our teacher-in-charge and since it's one of the important events for our school,we had to be very careful with our serving.
Many principals from other schools attended the event and so while doing our duties,we're to serve with a smile and be polite as well :)
Lion Jasmine was there too :)
According to the duties most of the Leos were to do the ushering while some were assigned at the reception table.
I feel that all the Leos did their best and it was the last event for the Sec-4 Leos.
During the concert,we'd a break..
Around 11 15am,those who were doing the ushering had to be back to their position while the rest prepared the lunch for the guests.
After the concert,the guests came down from the hall and the Leos served the refreshment.

Halo,

We had Silver Hair Citizens Nitez 2007 event on 10th March,2007 at Unity Secondary School.
All the leos were involved except Sec 1.
we reached Unity Sec around 2pm.
Some of us set up tables & chairs while the rest were doing other necessary preparations.
After that,we were separated into pairs which was one UE & one NV to serve the elderly.
One UE & one NV were to serve one table.
Before elderly arrived,we had our refreshment & briefing.
Around 5pm,the elderly arrived.
It was fun doing the ushering.
The event had started.
There're many entertainment & the leos like Rahman,Jodie & Athirah sang songs.
They sang quite well.
& after that was the karaoke section for the elderly.
They sang & danced & it's really nice to see the elderly enjoying.
coz our purpose for holding SHN is to make them happy & to give them an enjoyable moment.
finally, the event's over & felt that it's really a successful event (:

Today,our school had CCA open house.
We had to be at the school by 7am.
Then,we were assigned to different duties.
We could say that this year CCA open house was not bad coz we got about 19 new members.
Of course,it wasn't easy for us to get 19 new members but we explained to them what is our club about and so on.

Halo,

We had Joint Camp on 1st & 2nd of Dec.
Gonna summarize the whole events coz i really can't remember everything (=
When we reached Unity Sec,we're separated into different groups...
Then we introduced among ourselves & started playing games...
We played for almost whole day but around 3pm,we practiced the mass dance..
The Mass Dance??
we didn't really know how to dance..
& around 6 30pm,we had camp fire...
after that,it's night walk...
Night Walk was quite scary :(
then we took group photos after night walk & it's the end of the 1st day..

2nd day,
Rise & Shine :)
then,we had amazing race (=
after that was prize presentation & finally

Halo..

Just come back from meeting.. :D

Everything went well and even though it was meeting we had fun!

Frankly speaking, when we went there, we thought we would get scolded from Lion Jasmine for I & I but we did not get scolded from Lion Jasmine :P yeah..

Instead she told us that we did a good job :) So the debrief for I & I was closed.

And the next was the discussion of Leo Camp.

Then the B.O.Ds from Unity & North View were separated and Lion Billy took over for the Unity Sec while Lion Jasmine took charged of the North View.

Unity's BODs discussed about the programmes for the Leo Camp with Lion Billy while Lion Jasmine formed a Committe from North View Sec to work together with Unity's Committe for Leo Camp.

After forming the committe and waiting for the Unity Eagles to finish their discussion, we chit-chatted with Lion Jasmine.

Then we gathered again and they explained what is going to happen on the day.

It'll be Two Days One Night Camp which will be on 1st & 2nd of Dec & attendance is compulsory.

All the Leos must be at Unity Secondary School by 8 30am and the president of our club{tsaiting} will be calling meeting to let the NV-leos know about the attire and so on.

So everything's done and it's our lunch time!!!! :) We had pizza & KFC :) yummy yummy!!!!

While having our lunch, we chit-chatted so as to know each other better.

Finally, the meeting was over and it's time for us to go home!!!

Last,but not least, again,on behalf of all the leos, I would like to thank Lion Jasmine,Lion Billy and all the seniors for the lunch and for everything. :D

Opps!!

I forgot to update abt the event on 15th Oct.

On that day, five of our leos went to Thomson CC to help out in the Eye Screening Activity.

We met each other at 7am at Yishun Mrt,together with Leo Andrew from SP..

We reached there around 8am and had our light refreshment before starting our duty.

After our refreshment, we were assinged duty & all of us were asked to usher the residents from station to station.

At about 8 45 am, residents start to come in & we started our duty.

The activity ended around 11am & we helped to stack up the chairs before we left.

After that, there was a short phototaking sessions with the Lions,Leos,Nurses & Doctors.

Before we left, we were also asked to take a light refreshment and we chit-chatted with some of the Lions for a while.

Afterall, the activity was a fun & nice one! :D

We had also learnt how to take initiative to show the residents the way to station and where to be seated.

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves :)

It seems like Lion Jasmine will debrief about our I & I first and then we will discuss about the Leo Camp which will be coming up soon!!!

But I don't know the details yet..

So I'll be updating more about it after the meeting :D

At first, the meeting's going to be at Lion Jasmine's house but now the venue has changed..

Hello,

You'll find that this blog's so plain...

Because only now it's created...hahaha...so must forgive me :) {my apology}

On Saturday (14th Oct,2006), few of us went to Toa Payoh South CC to help out in Fun Fair...

it was fun..we enjoyed ourselves even though it was somehow tiring.. :)

in the morning, we're busy with setting up the store & selling things..hahaha..

we're there from 9 45am to 4 30pm...

in the afternoon, there're not many coustmers & not having to do anything,i decorated a teddy bear..hahaha :P

just like me, other leos also enjoyed the day...

nothing much to update about because the only thing that we did was selling things...hahaha..

a special Thank to Lion Glady,Lion Billy & his wife who were with us yesterday..

and also on behalf of all the leos, I would like to thank Leo Andrew from SP who bought drinks for all of us yesterday... :)
